PUBLIC CONTENT AND MODERATION RULES

These Rules apply to content a user voluntarily publishes in the Encyclopedia or through a public certificate. A private report is not published. Coinsider technically hosts the public record and may add its own editorial information; it does not become owner of user content.

A private report has no public QR, public link or public serial and is not published. A public Coinsider Verified record receives a stable serial and QR link and is visible in the Encyclopedia only after a separate, per-coin opt-in. Public content is user-generated content: users must have rights to uploaded material and may not publish unlawful, abusive, misleading or privacy-infringing content. Reports can be reported and moderated; consent can be withdrawn by unpublishing, without affecting prior lawful processing.

Only a coin added as a certified scan (Coinsider Vision) can be published. A coin added in Coinsider Snap cannot be published and we do not issue a certificate for it.

Users keep ownership of their uploads. By uploading content, they grant Coinsider a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and limited licence only to store, secure, resize, remove technical metadata, analyse and generate the requested service output and, after a separate per-coin publication choice, display that public record. The licence ends when the content is deleted or unpublished, subject only to necessary backups, legal duties and claims. Users confirm that they have the necessary rights and do not infringe another person’s privacy or intellectual property. Publishing a certificate does not authorise model training. Coinsider does not place private or public uploads in a model-training export without a separate, specific opt-in. No such opt-in is offered in iOS v1. Copyright or unlawful-content notices may be sent to coinssupportpl@wp.pl.

Do not publish unlawful content or material infringing copyright, trade marks, privacy or personality rights; false or intentionally misleading, offensive, hateful, pornographic, violent, fraudulent or malicious content; spam, third-party contact details or material unrelated to numismatics. Do not impersonate Coinsider, an expert or the coin owner.

Publish only coin photos and information you may lawfully disclose. Do not include faces, documents, addresses, device serials, locations, contact details or other personal identifiers. Coinsider strips image metadata and publishes a sanitised copy, but the user remains responsible for visible content in the frame.

We apply automated controls and proportionate human review. We may reject publication, reduce visibility, correct undisputed technical data, mark content as disputed or remove it. A decision does not determine coin ownership or copyright. Content breaching law or these Rules is not guaranteed to be restored.

We accept notices about the Encyclopedia, public coin archive and certificates at coinssupportpl@wp.pl without a fee, account or subscription. Guests and users without an active subscription use email; users with Premium/PRO ticket access may also report in the app. We send email replies to the contact or sender address. A Coinsider account is not needed to receive a reply.

The “Report content by email” form works locally: it prepares a message and lets you open your email app or copy the text. It does not send a notice, create a ticket or run AI. Review and send the message yourself in your email app. You may also write without using the form. Preparing a message is not confirmation that we received it.

Provide the exact URL and, if available, record number; identify the disputed content and explain why you consider it illegal or contrary to the rules. No legal article number is required. Notices of illegal content should include your name or organisation and email, subject to statutory identity-protection exceptions. Confirm your good-faith belief that the information and allegations are accurate and complete. Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary third-party data.

When we receive a notice with contact details, we acknowledge receipt and communicate the decision and available appeal route. We may ask for missing information. We review carefully, impartially and according to urgency, within the periods below or shorter statutory deadlines. Report volume alone does not determine removal; an authorised person must assess the case.

To protect the service, we may use proportionate limits, validation, duplicate detection and spam filters. These do not restrict statutory notice or appeal rights. Serious or repeated manifestly unfounded reports are handled under the abuse rules, with reasons and prior warning where required.

We may retain, restrict or remove content, disable a public QR or restrict an account. The publishing user receives understandable information about the decision, basis, scope, duration and available appeal route unless law or investigation security prevents disclosure.

The author or reporter may appeal in-app or through support within 6 months. Identify the decision and provide new arguments or evidence. A different authorised person will reassess where possible. Applicable out-of-court and judicial remedies remain available.

Reports and appeals may be submitted in the application or to coinssupportpl@wp.pl. We assess urgent notices involving an immediate threat, manifestly unlawful content or safety within 24 hours. We review ordinary complete reports within 7 days and appeals within 14 days. A shorter statutory deadline takes precedence where required by law.

For serious or repeated infringements we may temporarily or permanently block publication or the account after considering number, severity, frequency and intent. Similar measures may apply to manifestly unfounded bulk notices. Measures are proportionate and appealable.

A user can unpublish without losing the private report. The public record is withdrawn promptly; search-engine caches and copies outside Coinsider control may expire later. Account deletion covers public content except narrowly defined evidence required by law or for legal claims.

When an account is deleted, the public records of that account are withdrawn from the archive, and deleted once the data of the account are finally erased. Public verification of the serial number then states that the record has been withdrawn or that it does not exist.

When a coin is moved to the Trash, its public record is withdrawn from the archive and the Encyclopedia. Restoring the coin from the Trash does not restore the publication: publishing it again requires new consent on the coin card. Deleting the coin for good, by the user or when its time in the Trash ends, also deletes its public record; the record is not published again. Public verification of the serial number of a withdrawn record states that the record has been withdrawn. After the coin is deleted for good, verification states that the record does not exist.

AI-generated or manipulated content is labelled where required by law or the feature’s nature. A user must not present AI output as a physical expert examination. The publication licence excludes model training. Copyright notices should identify the protected work, infringing record, authority to act and a good-faith statement.
